The village
Lozenets
Lozenets is a small, quiet village on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast. It has its own beach, a handful of good restaurants, and a relaxed pace that makes it a pleasant place to spend a few days.
The wider area has several other seaside towns worth exploring — we will share our favourites in the WhatsApp group and add them here as the date approaches.
Getting around
If you have more time
If you are flying into Sofia or plan to arrive a few days early, Bulgaria has a lot to offer. Sofia itself is a great city to spend a day or two in, with good food, a compact old town, and easy transport connections.
For those renting a car, the countryside between Sofia and the coast is well worth the journey.
