Logistics & travel

The most common questions

What time should I arrive?

The wedding ritual begins at 6:00 PM. We recommend arriving a little before so you can settle in comfortably.

What is the dress code?

Festive / formal. Think elegant summer attire — this is an evening wedding at a beautiful seaside resort.

What is the closest airport?

Burgas Airport (BOJ) is the closest and most convenient option, roughly an hour from the venue by car.

Should I book accommodation early?

Yes. Late June is already well into the summer season on the Bulgarian coast, and availability can be limited. We recommend booking as soon as your plans are confirmed.

Do I need to stay inside Oasis Resort?

Not at all. Staying in Lozenets village is perfectly convenient — it is around a 10–15 minute walk from the resort.

Will there be organised transport?

Possibly. If enough guests are interested, we will look into coordinating shared transport from Sofia or Burgas. Please let us know your arrival details in the RSVP form.

Can I be added to the wedding WhatsApp group?

Yes — just leave your mobile number in the RSVP form and we will add you. The group is used for travel tips, logistics updates, and general planning.

Practical details

Weather, packing & practicalities

Will events be indoors or outdoors?

The wedding ceremony and celebration will be outdoors. The restaurant is sheltered and covered, so guests will be comfortable throughout the evening.

What weather should I expect in late June?

Late June on Bulgaria's southern Black Sea coast is typically warm and sunny, with temperatures around 25–30°C. Evenings are pleasant. It is very unlikely to be cold.

What should I pack?

Light summer clothes for daytime, smart or formal attire for the wedding evening, comfortable shoes for walking around the village, sunscreen, and a bathing suit if you want to make use of the pools or beach. A light layer for evenings is optional but handy.

Can I bring a plus one?

Please use the RSVP form to let us know who will be joining you, and we will confirm from there.

Should I rent a car?

There is no convenient public transport to Lozenets, so a rental car is worth considering, especially if you want flexibility or plan to explore Bulgaria before or after the wedding. If you are flying into Burgas and prefer not to drive, we may be able to help coordinate a shuttle — let us know in the RSVP form.

Can I come for just one night?

Of course — you are welcome for however long works for you. That said, we hope you will be able to stay a little longer and enjoy the area.

What should I do if my plans change?

Just get in touch with us directly as soon as possible and we will sort it out.

What language is spoken in Lozenets?

Bulgarian is the local language, but English is widely spoken in tourist areas, resort hotels, and most restaurants in the region.

Will card payments be accepted?

Yes — card payments are widely accepted. Bulgaria is now on the euro. Visa and Mastercard are well supported; American Express may be less accepted in smaller venues.
